RESIDENCIES:

2027 BIPOC RESIDENCY

The North Carolina Glass Center BIPOC Artist Residency supports artists who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC) by providing dedicated studio access, professional support, and uninterrupted time to advance an ambitious body of work in glass. Designed for serious hot shop artists, this four-week residency is intended to support the development of new work for exhibition, ongoing research, or significant advancement within a professional studio practice. The selection committee places strong emphasis on the proposed residency project, its artistic merit, feasibility, and the ways in which access to NCGC's facilities, technical resources, and creative community will help bring the work to fruition.
