In this class, you will explore and investigate the materiality of glass to create your own sculptures in the hot shop, get inspired by the glass medium and process of learning, and discover the materiality of glass and things about yourself.
During the five day class, Aya will provide the students each morning with an experimental demo through which they can play with glass in different ways and get the opportunity to come up with some interesting ideas from it. In the afternoon, it is time for students to play with glass. They will be encouraged to try out the things they are interested in.
